How to get there: exit from the Kitay-Gorod metro station to the right onto Kitaygorodsky passage. Walk 400 meters in the direction of traffic towards the Moskva River. Then cross the pedestrian crossing Moskvoretskaya embankment, turn left and walk along the embankment 200 meters towards the pier.
This pier is most convenient for tourists, as a walk from Red Square won’t take more than 30 minutes. You can choose public transport to get here — it's only seven hundred meters from the Kitay-Gorod station. For the car owners there is a parking lot on Moskvoretskaya embankment. Before the tour starts, you can spend time on a neat wooden pier and enjoy a delightful view of the Kotelnicheskaya embankment and the famous Stalinist skyscraper.
